About Bas

Bas started out as a developer and moved then to solution architect and later on to enterprise architect. Security always had his interest so he changed to his current position as a security consultant. His main focus is secure development and security assessment. Combining this with his good understanding of people and how they think, his goal is create a better and more secure world.

Bas has patience, a good understanding of people and creative thinking. He’s good in explaining complicated matters using practical examples.

In a world where IT is becoming more and more dominant and your data is becoming more valuable every day it’s important to become proficient on the topics of security and privacy.

Bas loves classes with a lot of interaction. Students who share their knowledge and experience not only teach themselves, but also the other students.
