About Chris

Chris Karelse (1973) studied law and business administration at the University of Groningen. After his studies, he worked in various legal and business positions, ranging from legal consultant, corporate lawyer at Regional Police Kennemerland, consultant strategic risk management and senior consultant training at Hoffmann Bedrijfsrecherche to change coordinator at the FNV.

In addition, Chris has been self-employed since 2011 with a focus on training and education programs. He is an external trainer / teacher at several academies and colleges. At the Hague University of Applied Sciences he recently delivered the minor Awareness for the Information Security Management program. At the Hogeschool Utrecht, Chris was rated best teacher several times by the students of the minor Information Security Systems. The combination of his practical experience, vision of the profession and experience as a trainer / teacher guarantees high-quality and interactive lessons.
